This great San Francisco city hall couple really enjoyed each other and were very playful during our photoshoot. This is one in a whole series of wedding photographs we took of them just interacting with each other and having fun. We sometimes just ask our SF City Hall wedding couples to just be together and pretend like there is no camera. We ask them to just joke, laugh, tickle, whatever it takes to liven up the moment. It can result in some amazing wedding images!
In this particular photo, we just asked the couple to hang out by the beautiful 3rd floor window at San Francisco city hall. We asked them to talk and joke and just check each other out. The resulting images were very natural and fun and did not look posed. The couple can always tell when photos taken of them make them look natural and familiar. The more posed or contrived an image is, the less natural the final images will look. It is important for a successful city hall wedding photoshoot for the couple to recognize themselves in the pictures doing things they often do together.
